Pots were brought to the kiln by some folks that Mr, Jing hired. They carried the pots using a yoke of sorts made of bamboo. Then there were some wooden holders. The roof tiles that you see here were stacked inside of one another to efficiently fill the space. The round forms would later be tapped in a special way after firing and would break apart into four perfect tiles. It was really quite shocking.
