This was the bamboo forest that we got to walk through on the way to the feilds. It was really nice. Some of the bamboo had writing on it and I thought it was there for timbering purposes. Chinese people also use a lot of bamboo for scaffolding while constructing buildings. The plant is also used for many other things. It also grows extremely fast.
