This is a tea table that's huge. The wood is from Fushan. Where I am pointing is a key feature in a tea table. You have to understand that a lot of tea is purposely spilled in the ceremony so there has to be a way to collect and disperse the spilled liquid. This is it. The carving all drains to this central point and water runs down this tube and is collected. This was a really wonderful table.
