It is shaped like an egg, broader in the front tapering as it goes back the stack. Great design, fires off quick, and can hold many pots. Here you can see saggars. These are made of clay but they hold the glaze ware in a sealed environment so the ash from the wood does not get on the glaze and cause imperfections. This is a traditional way that Jingdezhen porcelain was handled in the firing. The pots tha came out of these saggars were amazing.
